Josh McKenzie

 

Josh completed his Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at Deakin University and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University. Josh has worked as part of a multidisciplinary Sports Medicine Clinic in Geelong and has experience working with sub-elite and local sporting teams in the region.

Josh has a special interest in hip, groin and knee injuries, especially in the athletic population. He also has experience with reoccurring soft tissue injuries, using his Exercise Science and Strength & Conditioning background to design appropriate rehabilitation programs to optimise the relationship between injury and training load.

Josh utilises current evidence-based management with the use of manual therapy, and exercise rehabilitation to achieve return to function and performance for his patients.

In his spare time Josh enjoys playing local football, running and cycling.
