Paige Coombe

Remedial Massage Therapist

Paige completed her Diploma Remedial Massage Therapy at Australian Institute of fitness in 2020, and has since moved to Gold Coast in January to work as a Remedial Massage therapist for a chiropractor clinic. She has also been working for herself building her own reputation in the Gold Coast, working out of her home Massage studio and mobile services and also assisting a rugby union team in strapping and assessing of injuries and treatment.

She has had experience with a range of clients conditions using a variety massage techniques based on her assessment, including sports or acute injuries, rigid strapping, pregnancy massage, chronic pain and conditions, posture and joint mobility, lymphatic drainage and general muscle tension.

Although recently graduating, she has had years working in the health industry within multi-disciplinary teams. Originally from country Victoria she completed her Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance in 2016 and started working in a rural hospital and health service as a Physiotherapist assistant. Assisting in rehabilitation for clients in a range of areas including acute and high care wards of the hospital, aged care and the community. This helped Paige understand the importance of rehabilitation and develop the passion for helping clients gain back their independence and reach their goals.

Moving to Queensland in 2019, Paige took most the year off to travel up the east coast before moving to Brisbane to study her Diploma. While studying she scored herself a job for Queensland Health as a Allied Health Assistant for the Complex Chronic Disease Team. Helping run exercise programs for clients with heart or lung conditions, and seeing individual clients on home visits for a range of Allied health purposes.

Now settled in at the Gold Coast, she only hopes to grow as a Remedial Massage Therapist in the community around her. She is looking forward to helping her clients set and achieve their goals and  educate them on active care management rather than just a temporary “quick fix”.

In Paige’s spare time she enjoys the outdoors, she loves her 4W Driving, camping and hiking. Most weekends will be found socialising with her friends or spending time with her hyperactive little dog, Rosie. She does strength training at the gym a few times a week, which she is also very passionate about.
